Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate IT Testing Engineer to join our team at Infosys Quality Engineering. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the highest quality of our solutions through detailed testing processes. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, preparing test strategies, and executing comprehensive testing plans. You will also collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient issue resolution and help our clients in their digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed test plans based on project requirements.
- Estimate effort and prepare project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and review test cases, ensuring they align with client specifications and project goals.
Defect Prevention and Issue Resolution:
- Conduct defect prevention activities, ensuring that errors are identified and mitigated early in the project lifecycle.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and clarification of testing requirements.
Knowledge Management and Process Adherence:
- Ensure that knowledge management practices, documentation, and organizational guidelines are followed.
- Lead and contribute to testing strategy development, tracking and monitoring project plans.
Automation and Test Strategy Development:
- Anchor testing requirements and develop test strategies for various projects.
- Review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for quality assurance.
- Participate in test automation framework design and implementation.
Quality Control and Project Management:
- Develop and manage project quality plans.
- Validate defect prevention plans to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor the overall quality of project execution and suggest improvements.
Preferred Skills:
- Automated Testing: Expertise in designing test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- ETL and Data Quality: Experience in working with ETL tools and processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Technical Knowledge: Sound knowledge of various testing technologies, tools, and processes.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide timely resolutions.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent in a related field).
